What this is

The MGx9 Experience is a curated 24-hour immersion — from Friday afternoon into Saturday evening. You arrive carrying whatever you carry. You leave lighter, warmer, and more yourself than when you came in.

3 modalities

Qi-Gong & Tai Chi

Moving with intention

Rooted in Chinese medicine and philosophy, Qi-Gong and Tai Chi use slow, flowing movement to circulate energy, support digestion, and calm the nervous system. At MGx9 we use them gently, post-meal, as a bridge between nourishment and stillness.

Herbal Body Steaming

The warmth of plants

Practiced across West Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central America, herbal steaming uses plant medicine and heat to support the pelvic region, ease tension, and restore a sense of internal warmth. Particularly beneficial for post-partum women.

Moxibustion

Fire & ancient meridians

Moxibustion involves the burning of dried mugwort near acupuncture points to warm and stimulate the body’s energy pathways. Used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is particularly valued for building warmth, vitality, and recovery after birth.

How we close the day

Supper &
the debrief

We sit together with the food we have made and talk about the day. What landed. What shifted. What you are taking home with you.

Mama, experience grooviness — go home — practice on yourself. Share with others.
